In the unlikely never-going-to-happen event of me one day becoming an international film star and invited to the Cannes film festival, I think I would have to decline offers of accommodation at Le Martinez, shrug off invitations to shop at Cartier, and ignore pleas to be seen dining at the Casino.
For me would be the quieter and more discreet pleasures of St Jean Cap Ferrat,
where I would bask in the sun on Paloma beach
take lunch at the Voile D'Or
reside at l'Hotel du Cap
and of an evening, rather than strutting from Cannois nightclub to Antibes bar
I would take my favourite shore side walk around le Chemin des Douaniers
How about you? More flashy Cannes or discreet Cap Ferrat?
