OK now, I'm the first to admit that I'm usually about 100 years behind on the latest hi-tech gadgets, but how come I missed this one?!
AND this one?!
This week Libby, from an Eye for Detail, left me a comment about Gatsby the puppy, saying she was posting his photo to her Pinterest board ... sure, OK .... what?!
So then I thought, well maybe it's some new, little-known thing, just getting going between a few bloggers, but NO! it is enormous, and nobody told me about it. SIGH! ...
So first an explanation for anyone else as slow off the mark as me .... basically Pinterest replaces those files of cut-out pictures we all used to hoard away in cupboards, you can create theme boards and save a picture that you like for future reference. Your boards are visible to others, and it is good etiquette to name the source of a picture.
Then the Kindle thing..... you can propose your blog to be published on Kindle. Amazon will charge between 1 - 3$ per month for people to read it, and give you 30% of that. The sticky bit is the contract you have to sign; full of legal-speak, a bit scary. Not sure how far they buy the rights to your material.
So the questions I have to ask today, .. and I'm really interested to know this please:
do you use Pinterest? - if so how? (and where do you find the time?!!)
is it possible, or is there any point in, keeping your pinpics private?

do you publish your blog on Kindle? if so what is your experience of that?
would any of you who uses Kindle be pleased to pay to follow your favourite blogs ?
PS If you already have a Pinterest page or kindle blog,
please feel free to give us the address in your comment!
